Now Accepting Applications for the 33rd Japanese Speech Contest !!
Why not take the stage and showcase the Japanese language skills you have been developing?
The winner of Category B will receive a round-trip air ticket to Japan!
Date: December 5, 2026, from 14:00
Venue: Japanese School of Brussels
(Av. des Meuniers 133, 1160 Auderghem)
Application Deadline: October 30,2026
Category A (Beginner): 3-minute speech / Free choice of topic
Category B (Intermediate to Advanced): 5-minute speech + 2-minute Q&A / Topic related to Japan
Prize:
The winner of Category B will receive a round-trip air ticket to Japan.
All participants will also receive a commemorative gift.
Eligibility:
Open to non-native Japanese speakers residing in Belgium or neighboring countries.
Please note that participants may be selected by lottery if we receive a large number of applications.
